When I checked my objects on a land where I am setting up my shop, I found an object "MediaBall v1.20" that shows me as owner and Nurgo Onmura. It is no mod, so I cannot see what it really does, no do I have no idea where I've got it and how it has been placed on the land. It seems to go invisible under ground as soon as it is been rezzed.
Can anybody tell me what this object is supposed to do and how it could appear on our group owned land without my knowledge with me showing as owner?

Most likely it is a scripted device used to change media URLs on your land. It was probably on the land when you purchased the land, and "sell objects with land" was enabled during the sale.

Thanks for the explanation. I was just concerned because I never bought the land. It is deeded to the group and I'm an officer in the group so that I can build and terraform here. So I'm still not sure why it is showing me as owner. I just wanted to be sure that it's not some kind of scam or spyware  Jim |

I'd delete it, if I were you, no matter what it was. If you know you didn't purchase or make it, delete it.
