Any Dazzers here will know just what I mean. ;)
The way the Lindens treat their customers is very much the same as Daz. Although Daz stuff usually works, and if it doesn't, it will in the next version. Patches? you get one, if it doesn't fix it read the previous sentence.
But I will say that Daz's customer service is excellent; well in the sales support.
Daz studio, is a free program with regular updates. If a new update has bugs, generally there will be a fix PDQ; dependent on how much coding is needed to fix it. No it is not a game, it is a 3d content viewer, rendering app.

But Daz; like the Lindens, has isolated itself from it's customers in such away that usually they don't have a clue what their customers want, or what problems they may have. They also have the same definition for "resolved" :D
