When i try to log into SL it says saying Im giving the wrong password or name when I know I am not.Whats going on!!??!!

Actually, it could be an error in the login server.

I'm getting exactly the same thing. Can't log in due to a password problem.

Tried to submit a support ticket, it also would not accept my password.

So I submitted a ticket using a guest account...

Since other people are also suddenly having this problem methinks
it's a server problem.

I hope so!

Your home location,

or your last bileld amount.

write ti down somewhere

Ditto here. Went to my account page to try to reset it and it didn't work there.

What's bad is I was in the midst of showing a new resident some building things. He went to check his laundry, I got booted and now I can't get back on (my alt can, strange...) Anyone able to get in who wants to relay a message that I really wasn't trying to ditch him?

I logged out of secondlife.com, then used the Forgot Password
feature which sent me an email with a link to reset the password.

Did that and now I can log in.

Still, that's weird that the password I've been using was invalidated
without warning.

Okay after i reset my PW i got in

then i had to re reset it to get back onto the website.

I got this error message and booted out:

I had to log out of secondlife.com and then try to log back in in order to get the proper instructions for how to reset the password.

This is a good reason to cancel all those folks on your friends list that you have no idea who are.

I don't recall all my alt's email addresses. Bummer.

Since being logged out of SL while it was running and resetting my password successfully, I have logged into SL and secondlife.com with my other accounts and didn't have any trouble.

It might be a good idea to get valid email addresses for all one's accounts.

Okay, this is totally screwed. I can't log in either. Why don't they just call me and let me know when they have it working?

Had to use the email form. I was logged in just fine in both the website and the idiotic support portal. *shrugs* But I got back in.

They seriously need to change the hamsters for at least wharf rats.

My main account got the password reset. The one I use multiple timess every day. My alts were all just fine. Resetting my password worked for my main account.
