Are Casinos allowed on PG Sims?

I have purchased some land on a PG sim, nice flattish land. Right next door to me is a casino. I have no problems with them, they're very orderly, I've been invited to umpteen poker groups and don't know how to play.

However my main question, are casinos allowed on PG sims? I'm not going to complain or AR them, like I said they don't cause me any problems, in fact they attract customers but I'm not sure whether they'll be there long or not.

I thought they were banned altogether...or was that just advertising them?

Advertising of casinos is banned. but casinos themselves are not. They can be on PG sims, but they have to follow the PG guidelines.

So far, they've just changed the rules for advertising them. Their official policy is don't do anything that's illegal where you live. The last I heard, US officials still hadn't decided whether or not SL casinos break any US laws. If that ruling happens, it will change everything, but for now, GAME ON! As for whether they are allowed in PG sims, I don't think LL has ever made a clear ruling on that. As long as they don't have strippers and escorts, LL probably won't make them leave.

Thanks, there's no nudity or sexual content there so they'll be fine.

LL can't make up it's mind on what should or shouldn't be in SL. First the quietly put out a notecard saying you can't advertise age play. Then the Publicly say You can't advertise casinos. Then they ban two people for age play (Yes I don't know the details and there where rumors of RL pictures and I do fell that is a good reason but there was no clear cut reason given). and Now all publicly all rape and violence is wrong and everyone should report it.

There are still casino's advertised in SL. as someones picks, as gaming establishments or under other spellings like kasino.

It is not a matter of it being PG vs Mature land that should be the issue. it is that casinos are ileagal in someplace, and there for should not be in SL at how they are currently doing things.
But then we all know that casinos grow up and buy islands and have massive amounts of money going to LL for there fees if nothing else.

decide your view of things ethire people are responsible for them selves, they can teleport away, mute people, and not let people animate you. Or You are responsible for everything and nothing can go on in Sl. because it is illegal or immoral somewhere in the world.
