Where is the best place in SL to go for leather items? I'm more specifically looking for a harness, but I've been shop hopping for a while, and was wondering your opinion?

 . So, best? That is highly subjective lol. I would do a search for horses, there are a couple ranches about (one I know sell carriages) and I would imagine one busy in the making of such things would have the best harnesses, but I could be wrong , gl. |

There is a group and a place that is at least a sim devoted to pony girls. (not a member lol). They cater to all type of harness and assessories.

If you are looking for a texture and not the harness itself. As it sounds like you are making your own.
This Veined Velour and Suede pack I have for sale has been very popular. Check the included images. The first one is a reduced size sample. And the second one is how it looks on a 3d composite scene as rendered in DAZ Studio in the black version.   Good luck! _____________________

Although if you are looking for a leather texture for personal use, the easiest thing is to use one of the many good free texture resources sites and upload the file for a mere L$10.
