Good day,

After reading carefully about every thread on the subject I felt more comfortable to create a group and deed my 1/4 sim to it.

I began by a small 32 sqm to make sure the world wouldn't end (lol) and sold it back to myself.

- Question 1

other members didn't have liability priv checked. and in the end, I did get back all the money I sold back the land to myself for. BUT meanwhile, on the Land&L$ tab, the amount was showing as split amoung members. why ?
I found that this tab was quite handy as keeping notes of the numbers, but if it doesn't show them right it's no use..

- Question 2

Since anyway things ended up fine, I just deeded the whole 16896 sqm land to the group. Now.. again on this tab it says:

Total contribution: 16897 sqm -> why 1sqm more ?
Total land use: 16896 sqm
Land available: 1 sqm -> this cant be the 10% more allowed...
Your contribution: 15361 sqm -> where did that number came from ?

I had tryed entering the contribution in this tab and after only deed the land when doing the 32sqm test, but it wouldn't accept it. I had to deed with contribution for it to work. So when I deeded the whole 1/4 sim it's the way I proceded.

Any clue why every numbers keeps showing up wrong on this feature ?

Question #2

When I deeded my land to my personal group, it only took enough tier to cover what was deeded. If you check your account page, or maybe your "My Land" window inworld, you will probably see that your individual av still has that extra teir available.

If you want, you can deliberately assign it to the group, so the extra is with the group and not you. That's not necessary as long as the group has enough tier. And if you are right on the edge of a tier, that little bit extra might cost you more... unused tier assigned to an av doesn't get billed (if unused for the whole month), but if it's unused in the group, it's charged as if you really held land with it.

The 1%? Probably just from rounding a bit with the 10% calculation.

the 15k number contribution was bothering me so I changed it for the right amount of sqm that was truely contributed. now it says on the total contribution 18585 sqm. idont want to have my fees busted here.. what is happening ?

AvA, thanks for replying..

actually no.. the 16k sqm I deeded was the limit for a 75$ tier fees per month, berlieve me there was no extra sqm free lol

as for the suggestion about the 1 sqm rounding being the 10% more land allowed, well to my calculation 10% of almost 17K isn't 1 :)

Okay, let me see if I can lay out the math for you...

What you have now is easy. You donated your full 16,896 to the group. 10% is added for the group bonus, making your donation worth 18,585 (actually 18,585.6, but it seems they rounded down).

But when you deed land to a group, it only takes the tier it needs, taking the 10% bonus into account. So it SHOULD have taken 15,360, as that + 10% = 16,896. The remaining 1536 would have remained available to you as an individual.

Now that I've done the math, I have absolutely no idea why it added in the extra meter, as it was not needed.

Yes it makes perfectly sense.

so my fees havent been busted in any way, and I leave the contribution at 15k if I want to buy more land under my name, or put it back at 18k for the group if I want the 10% more land to be available for group land purchace.

Either way fees stay the same and the rest is simply personal choice as for whom will be the owner of next land purchase.

Thank you Ava, I appreciate

You're welcome. :)

Can't help on #1, although I'm sure I've heard someone else mention that recently.
