Hi

I a really newbie, so excise me if my question is too basic.

I purchase some plot and will bauild some house for renting it on weekends or something like that.

What i dont know how to do is to give some rights to the people that rent me (basically rights to rez their objects inside like their skins, shapes and personall stuff) without giving rights to modify the architecture or build walls, etc.

My plot is on my name (no group).

Whta the normal or standard way to manage this things?

Thanks in advance :)

You need to create a group and deed the land to the group. Your tenants then need to join the group and have their tags on whenever they rezz something on the parcel. That way you can control who creates objects on the parcel and doesn't become a sandbox. You should activate the autoreturn to this effect (for everyone). This autoreturn will not affect the objects set to group (no need to deed objects to group).

Set the land to a group. No deed necessary.

Require tenants/friends to be members of that group.

In options, restrict privileges of building, object entry and scripts to group (uncheck all residents).

Set autoreturn to 1.

When rezzing, tenants/friends must have their group tag on.

By the way you don't need to rezz skins like prims usually they are within the appearance slider it has pop up that you can search your inventory.
When I was new to SL and I didn't want to do the whole group thing I just turned build, script to public until they were finished. If you do group make sure you have alt so 2 people will be in group just in case so you don't lose your land if it drops below 2 members.

But if they just but a skin or a shape maybe need to rezz, right?

In fact im not sure what the stardard way to manage this kind of 'rights' when renting homes for a few days. Does customers get some special permission usually?

If you are very new I would of recommended seeing how SL works before jumping on the rental bandwagon.

Skins are a non-object and are worn directly on the avatar. They do not require rezzing on the ground, like boxed items.
