its strange but she cant, she cant log on into www.secondlife.com how can she fix this? shes tried password recovery, but still it wont let her in the main site to cancel or vew transactions, shes a none pay resident, but my other friend who is a none pay can,
why is it that they cant and she cant? she wants to cancel her acount but cant get in, [ive offered to help find out why since she cant get into forums either. how else can she close them? shes already tried to email sl support, but she got reply saying to go to her acount, BUT she cant get in  there should be another way if they cant get in to close. anyone know how? ty |

Could you please provide a little more detail about what happens when she tries to log in to the web site? What kind of error message does she get?

Have your friend go to this page:
https://secure-web2.secondlife.com/community/support.php Have them scroll down to the bottom of that page. They should look for the words in the yellow section: "If you cannot log into your account, use our Guest access" It'll ask for your friend's e-mail address and they can then login to the Support Portal using Guest Access. Once inside your friend can submit a Support Ticket. As they're in the Support Portal as Guest/Basic account they can only submit a "Special Questions" support ticket and get their password problem resolved. |

It seems like 'not being able to log in so she can cancel the account' is not much of a problem.

Wow, first one on me, since the password for both is the same one. And no, the password recovery button in the login page doesn't work. You have to go to the Support Portal via a guest account and have them send her an email that has a link to answer her security question. Keep in mind that this won't just change her web account... it will change her password all the way around, including for logging into the 'game.' _____________________

yes i found it strange when she told me that she cant get into the web site but it works for the game, she made sure, tried so many times
thats why im trying to get help for her thanks for those that replied. maybe it was when newbies whith out account access can access the acount page? i think i read something or heard something like that happend once? she was born on the 3/3/2007 |
