Hi i have purchased several plots of land and they cross a sim boundery
i did this on purpose in order to split the load of the building between two sims as to cut down on lag (possably)
problem is at the sim boarder i fall thru the floor .Is there any fix for this ?
I knew there was a good possability this would happen when i purchased the land to begin with .
thanks in advance for all your help

When you "fall through the floor", is it a prim or terrain? I had a similar problem a while ago. If you build the prims up to the border, but not crossing the border, it may alleviate some of the problem. If it's prim, you could also try raising the terrain (if possible) so it's just under the actual floor level so if the prim does go 'phantom' you don't fall through much. Apart from that... the only option probably is to move I believe the problem is due to the 10m 'overlap' at sim borders and the prims not quite knowing which server they reside on. Broccoli

thanks Dragger Border overlapping is a known problem for the reasons I mentioned - it's part of the reason why vehicles go wierd at sim crossings. Broccoli

If you have a prim which is 70% in Region A with 30% hanging over in to Region B, the 30% overhang into B will be effectively Phantom - you'll fall right through it. This is because Region B has no idea that the prim exists, so it can't collide you with it. For all it knows, you walked in from Region A in to thin air, hence you're falling down to the ground.
(I've not worked heavily on cross-border building so I might be wrong. I'm also not 100% sure what the right way to build-around the problem is.)

Walk slowly when crossing sim lines. It gives the computers a chance to shake hands properly while transferring you from one computer to the other.
You may want to add a warning strip so you and others will be reminded.
