My Avatar doesn't appear correct when I use pose balls

Help, when I use a pose ball, like mediatation, or a couple pose on a beach towel, the man part appears OK (as me, or him)...but when I use the F ball it looks to me as though I am only sitting there. The man says I look correct, but I can't see it and it never looks right..any one have an iddea what might be wrong?

I have seen this happen occasionally. Standing up and getting in again sometimes helps and sometimes not. Also it can happen to other peoples' avatars too -- that is, they look fine to them but to you their animation never started. This generally clears up by logging out and in again. Yes, it's frustrating.

Is this a persistent problem with you, or just occasional? If it's persistent, you might try reinstalling SL (just a wild stab, there, but doesn't hurt). If the problem continues, file a bug report from within SL (Tools, menu, IIRC).

This happens to me semi-frequently. I believe the issue is cache related, as the only real "fix" I have found is to clear my cache and relog. To do this, access the edit menu at the top of your screen in game.

edit---> preferences---> network---> clear cache.

For me, once I have done this and logged back in I am able to see both people animated as intended. Good Luck!

You don't have to clear your cache, but you generally DO have to log out/log back in to fix the problem. It's happened somewhat randomly for several months.

Well I did everything you suggested, even deleted internet files on my computer and it still was very buggy
Sometime I could see us both, sometimes he could, other time I could and he couldn't..weird and about drove us nuts...so maybe after my hot little PC cools off and I try tomorrow, it might fix itself......if not I'll send a bug report, so thanks for the help.

Do you have an AO? If, try turning it off when you sit..
