I am beginning to be happy I hid the island as soon as I logged on this morning.

Sending my best wishes to all those affected.

this is why it would help to shut the damn grid down a few days fix all the damn problems and nobody would really be complaining for once cause things would actually be getting fixed rather than half jobbed. this is pathetic because they don't want to deal with compensating how many residents with downtime, well news for you....i could deal without compensation if you did your job right, other than that i think we're owed for your half jobbed opening the grid to let us see yet another attack that will shut the grid down agian
sighs...someone remind me why i pay for this when there is no support, no fixing of the grid and all it does is get worse. lindens come to your land they leave and just message you with ohhh hide beacons crap....sighs

Beachballs are attacking us. Arg.
You CAN move them around, I even tried to move it onto my land to delete/return it, but it wont let you do that. It's scripted or something so that it creates a copy or something upon doing that...

If you pay attention,I said "Be Ready";I didn't ever imply that the Lindens will shut the grid :)

I didn't scream wolf at all, since there's actually a downtime :)...And I was rightfully expressing my anger against the hacker, not Linden Labs...So,please no need to be on defensive mode!

This is obvious a serious DOS attack which is costing Linden Labs money and possibly many others as well. It is also without question illegal at least in the U.S. I hope that LL succeeds in tracking down the culprit(s), perma-banning them, having their ISP terminate services, and pressing charges through whatever law enforcement agency is appropriate. Litigation would be nice as well, but is almost certainly not worth it.
