I'm not sure if this is the right thread or not but i just saw a tv show called Judge Alex and there was a man suing his ex gf for money but they are talking bout being in a virtual world and he caught her having sex in the game on the screen and she had a baby. Does this sound familiar? lol I wonder if these people are in SL or is there another virtual game like this? They said it was very detailed. The Judge has been laughing bout this cus of the sex and having a baby. I just thought it was funny to see this on tv

Copyright "or something" (such as trademark law) wouldn't prevent them from saying it was in Second Life. A lot of television shows don't want to mention any brand names except the ones that are sponsoring the show. It's a choice, not a requirement.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if it was Second Life. It's one of the more 'well known' types, isn't it?

TV shows are very careful about naming Products and Services because of possible conflict of interest with those corporations Purchasing promotional times during that show (Commercials) If, for example they name SL prominantly during a show, and One of the sponsors of the show, or local Advertisers happens to be EA games, then a conflict arises. There is also their desire NOT to provide Casual exposure for products and services that have Not paid what is called in the Industry, a "promotional consideration". IF a Product is named on a TV show, then the shows originators have asked for, and received a payment to have it Named.

From the description though, it DOES sound like SL.

I think her character got Pregnant from virtual sex.

their are a couple of game now that have that feature, in one it takes 9 real days to go from ovulating to giveing birth to an "Heir" and you ovulate every 4 days(you need a partner, either another player who can be male or shemale, or an NPC who can be male or shemale) if a player is the father you have to share who gets the "heir" (which is an adult, they dont want to mess with the issue of a Virtual kid in the game)
