Sl thought so much about the thread called, "Name sl's 10 famous avatars" they went and locked it.

Way to go!

Guess they're not so "famous" after all, huh? LOL!!!!!!!

Because this is resident answers, I'll answer your question

The OP in that thread made it clear that Lindens were not part of said list, even though many were added. Likewise "Sl" did not close said thread, the resmod of this forum did, and after some consideration, if you read the thread in question.

"Resmod" mods, Linden, LL, devs all equal the same thing.

Doesn't matter why, when or how either. Bottom line is they closed it, period.

Speaking as a resident, my answer to you is "no."

Just no.

No.

Wait! I'll save that thread!

*concentrates hard, using all powers he has*

...

...

*nothing happens*

Erm. Well. So that shows how much influence I personally have!

Seriously, thread closed = thread closedness. It ain't a-coming back no matter who you are, and trying to revive it elsewhere just stirs the pot - great way to get a warning or some such, so prolly best not to do it.

As strict as moderation is now, read back about a year and discover why now is better. Yep, not kidding.

It was like a professional wrestling smackdown for any innocent person that happened to wander in here and be foolish enough to ask an honest question.

A thread isn't useless until I post in it.............

*BTW commenting on lockd threads is a no no, so I see this one getting shackled soon.*

Honest questions.....on an sl forum.....I think you are living in the land of make believe with your pet flying pig. Next you will be telling us that these hapless souls were expecting honest answers that were consise and to the point........pure craziness!

Oh, I get it! You were trolling!

Resmod != LL, let alone devs

This is like saying that the lady on the corner with the hand-held stop sign is the same thing as the Chief of Police. Each of the above you listed - Forum Resmod, Linden Liaisons, LL developers, etc. are different positions with different duties and priorities.

Bottom line is the resmod closed it because it was not appropriate for this forum, for perhaps a couple different reasons, based on the guidelines of the forum. Kinda like this thread.

I am living in a land of make believe!

*watches his pet flying pig cavort happily in the skies over Caledon*

But that's okay though.

In Reality the Terminator is my Governor, people pay big money to visit my hometown where people dress up as giant mice and other furries, and everyone spends an hour on the freeway each day so they can go somewhere and tap computer keys for eight hours, of which 99.9% of said activity will be completely irrelevant within two years.

The grid is starting to make more and more sense each day. It's reality that is becoming unhinged...

I was there yesterday, and it is quite charming. But i don't know if it is The Land of Make Believe. I didn't hear Chuck Mangione playing anywhere..... ;)
