I'm having a real hard time trying to decide so I'm hoping for some input. For those who don't know my business in SL, I'm a long time scripter/owner of THiNC. I produces variety of gadgets for organization to book publication systems in SL. I have a pretty equal Male to Female ratio when it comes to customers. I'm not sure if that helps some to make a better decision but I threw it out there. Thanks in advance.

6

I don't like 1,4,5 and the other two are ok but boring to me.

Without a shadow of doubt, number 6. The contrasting "i" is perfect.

6 is definitely the most appealing to me and I work with Graphics allot proffesionally and studdied typography at college. (if that counts for anything)

6

That's a good font - classic bold lines indicating professionalism, but still techy/codelike/fixedsys enough to get the scripting tie-in.

Although my RL SO says the last one "looks like an old Atari joystick or a crooked penis" and prefers #3.

Isn't this whole thread really an advert to increase sales? :D

None of the above, for reasons similar to the reason people hate reading stuff that's in all capital letters. It's too difficult to read, disconcerting, distracting. If it were a short abbreviation, such as IBM, then that might work, but that's about the max.

IBM probably popped into my head because of their old "Think" campaign, which gave birth to Apple's "Think Different" campaign. I don't know whether that's good or bad for you, it's just a data point you should know.

Finally, the logo doesn't convey at all what it's about. That's ok, few logos do, but it means that the logo needs support. Between spending time choosing from these 6, and spending time figuring out how to make sure people recognize the logo (i.e. advertising), your time would be better spent on the latter.

I agree that none of them appeal to me, never liked the mixture of caps and lowercase letters, and sadly I too wondered if this was a ploy to boost sales...

good luck with whatever the motive hehe

Looking closely I would go with number 3 cause when I first TP in, it would be the easiest one to read quickly and with less confusion. And since I find your products excellent and without static, I like 3 cause its straightforward and not cute or with spin.

I guess it could offer some advertisement value but my intentions were sincere. After staring at each logo for a couple hours you can lose perspective really quick. Thanks for all of the votes, I appreciate it.
