Me and my friend are making a store on a plot of land of 1536 sq m (or somehting like that) and i have a few questions:

1) Is this enough land to make a store?

2) Me and my friend are making most of the stuff sold there, but also we want other people to IM us so that they can sell their product there. If I were to do this, would it be better if i were to take a:

a) percent of the profit

or

b) charge them a weekly fee to host an item.

3) Whether you chose a) or b), what would be a good price to charge?

4) Is there a vendor that allows the profit to be split in half between two people (for objects that me and my friend made)?

5) If you chose a) in number two, is there a vendor to split the profit between us two and the creator (depending on what you said in number three, such as if you said 10%, would there be a vendor to give the creator of the item sold 90% and me 5% and my friend 5%)?

Thank you for any help!!!

This is a very difficult question to answer...

1) Yes, I've seen businesses on plots of this size, however, I would suggest you ensure this is big enough for your needs --> some businesses require plots far larger than this. If this is a startup, then 1.5k will do fine.

2) This depends on the profitability of your store. As long as you aren't well known, you'll be better charging a weekly fee--> it's a sure thing.

3) This would depend on what they would be selling, if it would compete with what you're selling, how much space it would take,...

4) You could use a vendor such as Apez and set the proceeds to be split equally.

Your choice. There are vendors that can be programmed to Pay you a Percentage of the Renters Profits, But your return will be smaller, the Upside is, you don't have to Chase rents, and because the return is Lower, you Atract more Vendors.

If you choose Weekly Rents there are a Number of automated systems for Getting your rent, that disable the Vendors ability to sell until the rent is Paid. The downside to this is, These systems are expensive, and If your tenant doesn't pay the rent, the area sits Fallow earning you No money until they pay up, or you Evict.

For percentage, 5 - 10%, For rents, that depends upon How many Prims you will allow for display purposes, and how heavy the traffic is. $100 to $500 per week is not unusual, but this is usually for a Booth of 50 to 100 square meters with a Prim allowance of 50 to 100 If you are just allowing room for a Vendor, and a sign, then $50 to $150 seems reasonable, again, Depending upon your stores Traffic.

I've seen it done with One Renter and One Landlord, I think it wouldn't be difficult to have a Vendor scripted to Divide it three ways. If you don't know any scripters, Contact me through Private Message, and i will give you a Few Names.
