Limit to description of land?

I created a pub for "mature" couples to dance in a romantic atmosphere. However, there seems to be a limit to the number of characters I can type (appr. 50-75). I seem to recall that some places (*particularly strip clubs!*) have much larger descriptions.

Any way I can change this?

The much larger decriptions you have seen are most likely classified listings. There are two ways to list a location, one results in a listing under 'places', the other in 'classifieds'.

Places: This can be listed via the 'about land' menu. On the 'options' tab you check the 'search places' button. The name and description of the listing is entered into the fields of same name on the 'general' tab. This costs L$30/week, and is deducted from your balance every tuesday if you own the land, and from the group if it is deeded.

Classifieds: Open up your avatar's profile and select the classified tab. Click 'new' to place an ad. You will then be able to enter name, description, etc via this menu. Classifieds costs a minimum L$50/week. If you pay more than the 50L, your ad will appear higher up the list, it's essentially a bidding war for a decent position. Check the classifieds listings, you will see what I mean
