land ownership

I have 3 char. who form a group. They are all paying a premium accnt. I've donated all their land to the group and have bought a 1024 plot to live on and have 600 sqm and change left with bonus but when i try to buy another 512 the 'buy for group' tab isnt lit up.
Can someone help? Also my one accnt is paying 5 dollars extra but is still only allowed 512 in total land holdings. Has anyone else had this prob? thanx

The “individual” need to by the land, and then deed to group.

Because each Avatar is premium, your group could own up to 1689 sqm and pay no more than your monthly membership. You get a 10% bonus for group owned land

One caveat, be sure that no single avatar own more than 512 sqm at any given time during the month.

Tier is based on Max land held per months, so if one avatar owns 513 sqm, for even a nanosecond (or even a jiffy for that matter), your billed the next tier up for the month.

And don’t forget, the longer the membership term you choose the cheaper it is, I myself use the 1 year for $72 USD per year or $6 USD per month, or about 20 cents a day, such a bargain.

Don’t forget to read the land FAQ’s, that should make things clear.

You need to have the group you want to buy the land for as your active group (Right-click on yourself, pick groups, left-click the group name and click Activate) before you buy the land to enable "Buy for Group".

You don't need to first buy and then deed, just make sure the group is active and that you're using an avie that has the proper permissions in the group.

Can you do a copy/paste of what it says under Land Holdings on your account page (https://secondlife.com/account/)?

thank you both for your replies the active group was what i was missing. I sent a ticket in about the land tier being incorrect and it was fixed. Thank you
