Is it possible to have my premium account resident and my alt online at the same time? I searched this before posting and found a response which I tried, type mulltiple in the start up icon, but that does not work. Can anyone advise please?
regards,
Katie

Short answer is yes.

Long answer is that it's not necessarily easy. You have to either have two computers, or figure out a way to run multiple instances of Second Life on your computer. The latter is possible, but you'll have to do some research on getting it done.

You need to create a new icon where you can type multiple.then you can run both avas in sl same time, if your computer is strong enough^^.have fun

Yes. Just done it!

Right click on the startup icon, select properties and add -multiple on the end of whatever's in the target box.....

Its possible, a lot of scripters do it for testing security features and permissions.

Its not just "typing multiple". You append your shortcut. For example, mine looks like this:

"F:\Program Files\SecondLife\SecondLife.exe" -set SystemLanguage en-us -multiple

Then you can click on the icon and launch as many instances as you want.
