I upgraded my account tp premium yesterday, and purchased mainland. I had to enter my credit card data to Linden to do so (I don't know why, I already had payment info on file). I made the transactions.
My credit card company called me immediately to verify the transactions. I confirmed that they were valid purchases.
Today, my account says I have no credit card on file. When I try to re-enter the card I used yesterday, I get a "status not authorized" message on the screen.
I read somewhere in Linden help that you have to be sure the card billing address and account name match what you submitted to Linden.
But I can't find anywhere in my account info where I can verify or change my billing address or actual name.
Anyone have any suggestions or help with this? It is very frustrating. I have tried more than once to re-enter this card, and I keep getting the "not authorized" message, even though that same card worked just fine yesterday.
I don't want to have a problem when Linden goes to bill me next month for my premium membership. And I'd like to be able to purchase more Lindens, and possibly more land today or soon.

I had a similar thing happen to me the 2 times I had to buy a large amount of lindens. One time I had to re-enter the credit card information. One time I had a payment fail and had to use a different card. Both times, the card company called me the next day to confirm that I was the one that made the purchase. I haven't had any problems with my tier payments going through since then, but I'll definately be confirming that my info is still there. The only thing I know to suggest is to keep calling the billing number until you can talk to someone. If you have enough lindens, you can also convert enough to cover your fees and keep the money in your US$ account online. Any payments to LL will come from that before they try to bill your card.

I had kind of a similar thing happen to me as well. I started by trying to put my card on my SL account and it seemed like it took at first and I tried to buy some lindens but it rejected it.. So I tried to re-enter my card info.. this time it said not authorized. I tried doing it again and again and also trying to tie it to my paypal account and do it that way and then paypal said my card was declined (funny, I got gas that day with it) then today I tried to use it for lunch today and it was declined as well. So ok.. call to bank time! Long story short..  My card was flagged for fraud because the billing for SL was coming from the UK. (So nice of them to let me know -_-) So I guess I would suggest calling your credit card company and seeing if your card got flagged, or someone didn't add SL to the OK list the first time they called ya. Mines all sorted out and working fine now that I did.  Hope that helps!
