How does land deeded to or set to group work with regard to the land ownership requirements for support status?

I believe that the support status is tied to your tier contribution, no matter whether the tier is used to own land or deeded to a group.

So a bunch of people form a group, buy all the land in a mainland sim, and get no better support than they would individually? Is that right?

Yep, unless one of them is over the $125 tier level.

And I think that is good. Why should someone (or group) that own a complete (or big part of) sim get better support then the persons who owns just a part of a sim? Every teir paying person is entitled on the same support in my opinion.... because I know where that will lead, all great land-owners taking away all support time.

Give me a tiny stake in your sim and I'll use my awesome power and influence to get all the support you need!
