Hi everyone :)

I bought some land for my sweetie and I and I'm wondering if there is a way to set up land ownership for it to say both our names, and have the same powers over the land. Is this even possible?

Thankies in advance :)

The only way to have the land jointly shared is by having it owned by a group. Your group could be titled something like Kizza & JohnDoe Love Nest and then both of you would have all property rights as long as you both are officers.

Form a group of which you are both owners...or make her an Officer if you want, and deed the land to group.

To have it display both names.....change the parcel name uner the General tab in About Land.

If you want to be able to seperately buy furniture and be able to move the other's stuff, just make sure it has the proper group set (by having the group active when you rez it, or by setting it explicitly in the edit window) and checking "Share with group".

Note that doing that makes it possible for you to take the other's things into inventory as well (but only things set to be shared with group, so not quite as extensive as granting mod rights) which may be something that doesn't matter, or something you'd rather not risk.

A little beside the point but something else you might want to try is for both of you to allow the other to modify your objects (in Friends popup). This way, if someone forgets to make an object group-owned, either of you can move or modify it.

Of course, that depends on the level of trust -- not just personal trust but also technical trust. It's pretty easy to mess stuff up if you're not careful!
