Avatar weirdness

I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this:

http://www.sluniverse.com/pics/pic.aspx?id=120897

That's a picture of my brother. As you can tell, somethign isn't right. On his computer, he looks perfectly fine, but on mine or my friend Robin's computer, he has this weird problem around the eyes. Not everyone else can see it either, but some can. We've tried...

Rebake
Entering appearance
Adujsting appearance
Changing eye, shape, and skin, then changing back
Cache clearing

To no avail. He still has the problem.

Further, he sometimes has a white line across his tummy, again not visible on his, but intermittant on mine. It also does not seem affected by the above or a clothing change.

It might me a Mac bug (My brother, Robin, and I are all on Macs), but I do not know. I've not seen other avatars with this trouble.

This is how he should look:

Anyone else had this happen? Any ideas at all?

Mari

*Update* It still seems to be doing this, but it appears to mainly be client-side. Cleared my cache and it went away.

His eyes look to be missing to me - perhaps he should try re-wearing them from inventory?

We tried it. Even bounced through a few different eyes. No change.

(If they appear missing, this is due to a differernt bug I've had lately: where outfits, skins, etc are not rezzing or staying rezzed)

I've seen that weird eye bug on other people. Most of the ones I've seen are people with normal textured eyes and I've seen this thing on random people ever since I've been here. Is it the eye depth? I know you can set how deep your eye sockets go back into your skull so maybe it is too far forward? Changing the eye size?

I don't know what it is. It is only a recent development, and his avvie wqas fine before. Are you on a Mac, by chance?

When in doubt go back. Load up a default avatar from the library and make sure the eyes and shape are specially loaded for that avatar. Then put on HIS eyes, if works then remove them. Then put on HIS shape, If still ok then try both together. I find sometimes if I do that it gives me a better focus as to WHAT is causing the issue.
