This might be a really stupid question, but; I just bought a new dress, and for some reason when I try to wear it, it's just the promotional board for it that gets attached to me, not the dress. Does anyone know how to fix this?

You need to drag the item from your inventory list to the ground. When you see the box, right click and chose "Open." Then when the window pops up, chose "Copy to Inventory."
You will then have a new folder with the items of what you purchased. Just drag the items to you, or right click and "wear" or "attach".
