in preview image before upload, body does not show

i am trying to upload clothes and for the longest time when i preview on the female or male body the actual body doesn't appear. it starts to appear then the small screen goes blue and i see the texture i'm trying to upload like it is on a body but no actual body appears for me to see the postitioning.

what is up with this? has anyone had this problem?

OR... try explaining yourself a little more clearly. I have been in SL for over 2 years and can only make a wild guess as to what you are asking about. I'd like to help but don't know where to start.

When you load a piece of clothing. The alpha channel of that shirt is erasing all the parts of the preview body where it was set to transparent. I'm not sure if it was this way before. I can't remember. If you want to see your clothing with a body underneath it, you should use the clothing previewer program that someone made a while back. I think it's mentioned in the texture forum.

I`m not sure if im having this same problem but yesterday, i think it was, I tried to use the viewer (I never use it as I prefer looking at my clothing in world) and the body would not take, it went black and disappeared.

It's a bug. I've had this bug for almost two months. I reported it right after the patch that broke it, way before they took away live help and put up that convoluted bogus BS system they came up with.

Yeah, this is what I think is happening alright. I get it about 50% of the time, but it doesn't phase me, due to the fact that I use SL clothing previewer outside the game to line up the seams. Although even that tends to fudge up some of the underarm area... *shrugs*

can someone tell me the name of a SL clothing preview program? i looked on the internet but i can't seem to find what ya'll are talking about.
