I am very new....along with way too many clothes, I bought the Xcite male starter kit and an object that is a "missionary position" item....when I try and use it, I have options of where to attach it to my avatar, or I can attach it to a hud...If I place it on the screen somewhere I get these two huge orange balls. If I clck them, I get a message saying I can hide or show them, or I can right click on them then sit on them. I'm not getting an option to sit on them, and they move with the screen so they are never on the ground. I think I'm totally lost. Are there some places I cant open these? And are the orange balls poseballs? If so, how do you use them? Sorry for the basic questions, but I'm totally confused.

Should have full documentation 'how to' notes with it. If it's confusing, then search for the Xcite! group in SL and post your question there. Guarantee you'll get quicker and more real-time results to help you out.

I don't use the system, no clue how it works. Just wanted to post this so you know where you can get better support on this

There are two possibilities:

1) The sit item has been given another name, but it's whatever is in the top left of the pie chart when you right click.

2) The item is broken.

It sounds like what you bought is a poseball set, in which case you need to rez it (drag it from your inventory onto the ground), not wear/attach it (the Xcite body bits you would wear). When you rez the poseballs, you'd get the normal "Sit" when you right click.

If you happen to hide them, under View at the top, there's Show Transparent which will let you find them again.

Xcite! also has a web site at http://www.getxcite.com with a support page at http://www.getxcite.com/support.html and a contact page at http://www.getxcite.com/contact.html .

I found that by putting "Xcite" and "second life" in Google. Having a web site that enables people to find your product and company in Google is probably a good marketing idea that I don't recall seeing mentioned too much in response to the oft asked question "How do I sell stuff?".
