My avatar is unable to walk. I can turn around but that's it. I have tried removing all attachments, clearing cache, uninstalling and reinstalling sl. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

It happened to me too last night when a TP went bad. I had no other choice but to re-login.

Hi, all I can say is you're not alone, this has happened to me quite a few times in the last day or so, maybe it's caused by lag, i'm really not sure, but it's definitely not you!

I do not believe it is lag......others around me can move. i have re-logged, cleared cache, and reinstalled sl and still frozen in place.

check what your settings are at
sometimes after reinstalls your settings will go back to max and will cause issues with being able to move and such
check things like draw distance and particle count especially

It happens when you get partially disconnected from the grid. It stops relaying new information back and forth (you won't get new chat text, etc.) but continues to show things that were going on at the time of the disconnect, such as people in animation loops, so it may take a minute or two for you to notice it's happened.
Sometimes if you wait a few minutes it'll resolve itself, but the best solution is just to relog.
