Apologies, I know this topic has been covered extensively, but I was unable to find the thread in this forum. Can someone either list or link to the thread of RL companies that have a presence in Second Life? I'm trying to pitch the idea to my employer.

err the RL companies I know of and listed at one point (although i think one died already)
nissan toyota pontiac kingdom media (not sure if it lived) amazon.com IBM microsoft used to have a presence (dont know if the still do) there was and I think still is an oil/gas company that has a sim where they train their techs also can't remember the name usablity island (some kind of email thingy lost on that one so far) those are the ones that I can remember |

There are a myriad of RL Companies in SL, some large some small.
I represent a RL Company and we work with many RL businesses developing presence or Events inworld. There are many others offering similar services. |

oh yeah i forgot that um the whitehouse now has a presence its called capitol hill of course
capitol hill north ,south etc  that one gave me a giggle (its not a business but its real life brought into SL) |

I think Dell has a presence in Second Life, and possibly a sim of their own. I think I only remember that because I read some controversy about the Dell associates being allowed to all have the last name Dell in world. lol
