Hello. I have just posted my first votes on LL's issue tracking system (they use the JIRA system, for you nerds out there). The public portal is at:

https://jira.secondlife.com/cas/login?service=https%3A%2F%2Fjira.secondlife.com%2Fsecure%2FDashboard.jspa

For those who are concerned about the various issues on Friends lists, you may wish to vote for bug MISC-142 . It looks as if someone has created a patch for this, and it has been assigned an actual LL bug number, both very promising. But no solution has deployed, judging by the people still having issues.

Those who are concerned about inventory loss may wish to vote on SVC-114 . Personally, I have seen inventory loss issues continue after LL's patch a week or so ago.

JIRA is not a friendly UI, so here's some hints for voting:

-- If you know the bug number (like SVC-114 above), then enter it in the "Quick Search" field in the upper right of the JIRA screen.
-- When the bug description comes up, look on the panel on the left side of the screen for the section called "Operations" (probably the last section)
-- The last item in that section should be "Voting". A single click there will register your vote. The page will change to indicate that you already have voted for this bug.

The next time you log into Jira, you will see a set of links on the entry page like this:

"My Unresolved Reported Issues | Votes "

Click on the "Votes" part of the link and you will see the status of all issues you have voted for.

Lets all PLEASE use this valuable tool responsibly - I am not a Linden but I have been a programmer - do not add comments to bugs that simply say you saw this happen too, or you really want it fixed, etc.. If you have further symptoms that have not been mentioned, or know that it only occurs after a specific sequence of events, that could be helpful.
