Help with creating group land & tier

Here's what I would like to do: I own 512 of land, I would like to create a group so that my alt can set home to my land. I have created a group, and would like to donate my tier and deed my land to the group, but I have a chicken and egg problem. I can't donate my tier because it is being used by my land, and I can't deed my land because the group doesn't have tier. Is there any way around this??? Thanks,

Answered my own question - didn't see the "owner makes contribution with deed" check box.
