The people behind me put in a huge tree and it's growing inside my house. I've sent them 2 IM's with NO reply and I don't even know if they speak English. What would you do?

Make sure your IMs are freindly (or at least polite) and give them 7 days to respond.

After 7 days, bug a Linden to come move it. (Help menu, Help Request) It may take some time to get a Linden with time and interest, so just keep trying (and again, be freindly and polite, anything else slows down the process)

Sometimes IMs can cap if they are offline, send them a friendly notecard with the information about the over grown tree and offer to help them with a gardner...meaning, help let them know when the tree is no longer in your home. Then like the above post, request a Linden come and help.

I put trees on a borderline long ago on my first set of land not even realizing that a zoomed out veiw of a Linden tree is vastly different than a zoomed in view, could be a simple mistake. Good luck!

Also, if they persist, make something on your land that is unsightly from their side, like a wall that is made from squares of lime green and flourescent pink - only after trying all the peaceful, friendly approaches, of course!
