HOLLYWOOD July 4, 2006 -- The whole nation celebrates with fireworks, parades, hot dog eating contests, and more! SLGA's Forum launches!
Ok, ok. Maybe that's not what the fireworks etc. are for, but it's exciting none-the-less. In the days ahead I will be posting some basic information about golf in SL and in particularly at the Holly Kai Golf Club since we are the only show in town for the moment.
The SLGA and this forum are for all SL residents that are interested in golf in SL. While many of you are members of the Holly Kai Golf Club (and enjoy an ever growing list of club membership benefits) some of you are not. And that's fine. We at Holly Kai do not feel that Holly Kai will be the only place you can play golf in the future. We DO believe that Holly Kai and the Holly Kai Golf Club provide a great start for golf in Second Life.
This forum is for anything golf related in Second Life. So its tee time folks! Let the fun begin.

Jazzed for golf
10-09-2006 13:44
Great idea. I just joined the group today. I see there are no long waits for a tee time, which is nice....
Also, might i suggest a jazz or ambient music stream (nature sounds, perhaps?)
Thanks for introducing us to SL links.

Thanks for introducing us to SL links. Are you thinking of music for the club house or on the course? We usually have jazz playing in the clubhouse... nature sounds might be fun on the course Donno what impact sounds have on sim performance... I'll talk with MarkTwain White about it. Thanks for the comment.
