Holly Kai Golf Club July Tournament

HOLLYWOOD July 29, 2006 -- SL's first ever golf tournament drew 10 players and as many spectators. Although most players had little to now influence from client side lag, a few did. Causes of client side lag will be posted on this forum later this week.

PENNIE Sassoon and Grant Chamerberlin finished regulation tied at 39. A playoff was held during the awards party in the evening which was won by PENNIE Sassoon, who becomes SL and HKC's first golf tournament winner. Congratulations PENNIE!

HKC member Derrick Stewart did a fantastic job of DJing our Awards Party in the evening. Attendees were treated to a rare display of cross dressing when host MarkTwain White wore his pink poodle skirt, having lost a bet. Derrick's music selection was a perfect blend of jazz, swing, classic rock, and gergorian chant. However it seems that MarkTwain was the only one present that got the gregorian chant feed. How odd. Derrick will DJ our club championship this Saturday as well.
