I bought some land in Smith, back when Aditi first opened up. Later, I subdivided it and sold off all but 1024 sq.m, so land would be available for other people. Still, I had a nice little piece of waterfront. But now Smith has disappeared from the preview grid!! I can't test some of the group stuff I was planning to try out, because I no longer have any land to test it on  And I can't even buy more, because there isn't any left to buy now, not to mention the fact that the Lindens seized my land with no compensation. Pffffft! |

Well, Preview isn't reflect the current status of sims. It's snapshot that might be taken maybe weeks ago. (i'm not sure how long) So if you recently buy land, it may not appear. Also that only limited sim come online in preview grid anyway.

They could do with re-parcelling up some land in Aditi for sale, and spraying that fake money around again, to allow people to continue testing as the rules change  |

No, I didn't buy the land in Smith in the main grid; I don't think any land in that area has been for sale for a long time. I bought it in 1.12 Preview when the Lindens put it up for sale there, so that people could test the new group features. The point I was making is that Smith HAD been part of the preview grid, and LL put some land there for sale. Now it's missing, and people's land holdings got taken away. Since we're only talking about preview, I don't really expect they'll do much about it, but I'm still annoyed. |

Smith has returned to the preview grid.
The Lindens have also put a whole bunch of 512 plots up for sale in the preview grid. Just about the entire sims of Murray, Oak Grove, Gibson, and Rizal have been subdivided into little plots that are selling for L$1000. If you're looking for land to try out the new group tools, it's out there now. This is Aditi preview land; you won't own it on the main grid.

Great idea!
Everyone was given L$ 5000 on the the ADITI grid. Parcels in Gibson, Rizal, Oak Grove and Murray are for sale at L$ 1000.
Gibson and Rizal are set as mainland regions.
Oak Grove and Murray are set as a Private Estate. Estate parcels are different from Mainland parcels for a couple reasons.
* You must agree to the estate covenant when you purchase the parcel.
* You will not be able to subdivide or join the parcels on Private Estates. Only the estate owner or estate manager can subdivide and join Private Estate parcels.
