does it take to get on the Beta Grid? I DLed the client.. and I've been trying to get in for a while now.. it just seems to sit at "logging in"

Yeah, it can take a little while sometimes. The beta grid doesn't have near the capacity as the regular grid. Hang in there and keep trying!

Yeah, the beta grid is especially slow on days when the main grid is down because it's not meant to handle that kind of load. Usually it's as fast or faster than the main grid. Should return to normal tonight or tomorrow though.
