Wow, I just noticed this in the preferences and have no idea how long it's been in beta. Is this new with 1.16? I've gotta say, it's very impressive and works quite well. I guess not a lot of people have G15 keyboards.

All of the info screens are great, but I'd make a few minor adjustments:

- Let us toggle whether or not we want the screens to automatically change or stay locked
- Let us adjust how many seconds to display each screen when on auto-change
- Let us adjust the order
- Set two of the LCD buttons to Forward and Back, and one to enable a menu that lets us directly change the LCD options from the LCD itself

This is a very welcome addition, I have to wonder if you couldn't get some sort of mini-map on the screen as well! ;)

Wow, about time. I've been meaning to add that to the client for a while, glad to see someone beat me to it

/me hugs G15

In Prefrences under Logitech LCD, If you don't have the keyboard, it doesn't show up I think.

Also works for the Logitech Z10 speakers.

what all info does the screen have for sl? i have one of the keyboards but have all the software uninstalled cause it was generally worthless. always thought an app for sl would be neat though. worth reinstalling the screen stuff?

*edit reply to post below*: i still had the profiler installed. i like the macro keys and all. but the lcd display software was eating like 50MB of ram and didn't have much info i really needed to see, so i removed those programs. this little sl app looks kinda neat though. some of those options i will totally use ^^

There shouldn't be any reason to completely uninstall the Profile/LCD Manager in the first place, but if you're someone who never got any use out of the LCD screen then you probably won't find anything useful in the new SL app (why did you buy an expensive keyboard if you're not going to use its features?). It's just several pages of info displays (all of which can be toggled in your preferences)which are auto-rotating and can be scrolled through with the soft keys.

There are two screens dedicated to info about the parcel/sim you're in, one screen that shows the last few lines of chat, one that shows the last few lines of IM, one that shows the time and your L$ balance, a debug screen, and I think one other that I can't remember. All screens have the SL logo on the left edge, and as far as G15 apps go, I think it looks quite nice.

Here's what the settings look like:

The menu option only shows up if you have the drivers and LCD manager installed for the G15.

It'll rotate through which ever ones you have selected, or you can use the 4 buttons below the screen to switch between them manually.

Display chat - Shows last 3 chat lines.
Display IM's - Shows last 3 IM lines.
Show Location Information - Shows region name, parcel name, location, parcel size, owner name, rating (PG or Mature), for sale (Yes or No), and traffic.
Show Account Information - Shows L$ balance, and PDT/SLT time.
Display Network Comms Info - Shows FPS, SimFPS, Packets In, Packets Out, Packet Loss, and Ping.
Display Debug Info From Console - Shows last 3 lines from debug console.

I also believe there's one screen that is always active even if you turn all the checkboxes off, but I can't check on that right now.

Yeah, it just has the SL logo with the text "Second Life Display" next to it.
