Dear Ladies,
Please forgive my intrusion into your company. I would like to join your number, both socially and professionally, but the lack of available shop space has stymied my ambitions.
I am a maker of fine and everyday china; I am in high hopes that my wares would complement Caledon society, especially my coffee and tea services. I have been in touch with the esteemed Mr. Desmond Shang in regards to engaging a suitable property in Caledon, but I must confess, as unseemly as it may be to admit, that I cannot now afford an establishment of my own at the going rate.
I am hoping that someone with a current establishment in Caledon might find my wares compatible with her own offerings, with a reasonable remuneration. I am also content to offer sample tea sets to those of you whose establishments might benefit from providing refreshment to customers and guests.
In time I sincerely hope to gain a foothold of my own on Caledon soil--please do believe I am not trying in any way to do what moderns might call an "end run" around Mr. Shang--but for now, I remain,
Your humble petitioner,
Miss MeiLin Miranda
