In order to provide a more reliable experience for Second Life residents, we will be adopting a new policy for planned downtime. The official downtime window is Wednesday from 6am to 12pm PT/SLT. This will be subject to change in the event of an emergency, or in the case where new software can be deployed without an outage (i.e. a viewer-only deploy).
Announcements will be made on the Friday prior to the release (if a release is planned for the following week). A tentative list of fixes and features will accompany the announcement when appropriate. If possible, a preview version will be made available for public testing.
