A few moments ago, everyone in-world was removed and login was switched to Gods-only while we investigate further. I’ll report back as soon as I have more information.

2:30am PST: About a half hour ago we emptied out the grid and switched to Linden login only. We are currently investigating a potential exploit. I wanted to thank all of you for your patience on what has been a very long day.

4:10am PST: No new information, we're still running tests and investigating the issue, just wanted to let everyone know that we're still looking into the trouble. The grid is still closed at this time.

5:30am PST: We've created a patch for the exploit, which involved a permissions bug, and are currently in the process of testing and rolling it out to the grid. The grid is still closed and will remain so until the fix has been completed. Thank you all for your patience.

7:00am PST: Good morning everyone, the emergency update is going well and we are currently in the process of testing. The Second Life grid is still down, but we hope to have it reopened within the hour. I'll be sure to report back as soon as I have more information.
