Promoters and event planners can now access Second Life's very own fairgrounds. Lime, Plum, Rizal, Raush, and the component regions of the Vehicle Recreation Area are all available for low cost, short term rental. For just L$1,000 per region, per day, you can become the impresario of your own Second Life empire -- if only for a day or two. Renters are entitled to use the entire sim for their event, though the low cost means that dwell bonuses will not be awarded.
Lynn Lippman kicks off a preview of the Fairgrounds rental program this weekend -- from Friday to Tuesday, Lynn's Flea Market will expand into four Regions of the Vehicle Recreation Area -- Bethel, Fortuna, Fame and Brilliant.
