Due to a recently identified exploit, we have temporarily disabled the ability to invite new members to a group until after Wednesday’s release of 1.11.3. We are currently in the process of releasing a server side patch to temporarily resolve this issue, this patch should not interrupt your Second Life experience. The final fix for this issue will be included in the 1.11.3 release on Wednesday.
This means any new or outstanding group invites will fail (you should get the error message: "Group enrollment has been temporarily suspended while we make improvements to the system."  upon acceptance. Also, you will not be able to promote any current group members to officer status during this time, but you will be able to remove people from groups. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. |

[UPDATE] Residents concerned about groups being disbanded during this time need not worry--group disbands have been pushed back by 4 days from today. This will give groups ample time to add new members after we re-enable group invites tomorrow. Thanks for your patience.
