Everybody,
I discovered, at the last possible moment, a small problem with the login process in 1.0.7. Rather than patch 1.0.7 (which a few people had already downloaded), I fixed the problem and bumped the version to 1.0.8.
Otherwise, 1.0.8 is identical to 1.0.7.

Dear Lifers, The latest release of Second Life introduced a new bug that may cause a crash in the viewer. It occurs at random intervals, and is more common among computers that have a higher degree of packet loss. Tomorrow we will be releasing a new version of Second Life, version 1.0.9.
