Please contact a liaison for a new version of the voting station. The new versions will work immediately. We will continue to pay on the old version through March 19th. On March 20th, the old stations will not work. You can identify the new version by it’s distinctive blue foot. You can usually find a liaison at the start point in northern Ritch.

As soon as you get a new version of the voting station, please delete your old one. The intent of the voting stations is that a particular resident should only have one per structure.

Only one vote station allowed per resident per region
03-13-2003 12:03
*This policy was changed - see next post *- "It's fine to have multiple vote stations if each one represents a different structure. But in order to prevent mulitple station getting votes for one structure, each resident will only be paid for one vote station in a particular region. (The name of the region appears in the lower right hand of your screen.) We'd appreciate it if you would go ahead and delete extra stations. Otherwise we will need to go through and reverse the payment on duplicate stations starting for the March 13 results."

A modificaton of the multi-station policy

It seems like most of the poster agree on our intent but take issue with the way we suggested that it be enforced. Due to popular demand, we will try a different method of preventing a resident from benefiting from two vote stations on one attraction.

I'll go in-world to take a look at the places where two stations are getting votes for one resident and if they seem like they are obviously next to one attraction, then I will adjust the account so that the resident only benefits from one. I will go ahead and post the secondary stations and put an asterisk next to them so that it’s clear which ones I consider redundant. This will take effect tonight.

The new vote stations are being distributed to liaisons for distribution to you. These will work immediately. You need to replace all version 1 stations with one of these by April 7th. If you have a version 1.2 station then you don't need to switch. (If you are visually inclined, make sure you have one with a blue foot.) These 1.3 version stations should also fix the problem of resetting the cumulative vote each night that some of the earlier versions have.

April 7 deadline to replace Version 1.1 vote stations

Linden will stop paying out for results of version 1.1 vote stations as of April 7th. So make sure you have the vote station with a blue foot by then.

Version 1.1 voting stations are being disconnected from the voting results. Besure your vote station is version 1.2 or 1.3 - the ones with a blue foot. You can get one from a liaison who is stationed near the welcome area in Ahern.
