What is a group?
This question has troubled philosophers for decades. “One” is clearly the loneliest number that you’ll ever know. “Two?” Well, it takes two to make a thing go right, it takes two to make it outta sight. But two is not a group.
And three? As Schoolhouse Rock and De La Soul will tell you, three is a magic number. Three’s company. And three is a group.
Starting on Friday, 6/27 groups in Second Life need to have at least three members. If you have fewer than three members for three days, you’ll get a message from the system. If a third member is not added by the next day, the group will automatically be disbanded.
Does this mean you cannot start a group with fewer than three members? No, you can start a group with only one or two members, but after three days you’ll need to add a third. Or else face the specter of being disbanded.
