At around 8:40pm, the machine that hosts the userserver and spaceserver crashed. This broke IM for people logged in, and broke logins. Unlike the simulators, when the userserver and spaceserver go down, so does the rest of the grid. :(

A spare machine was brought online to handle those services, and that's where we are now. I currently do not know why the userserver crashed, but when we figure it out we'll make sure it doesn't happen again.

The DNS record for userserver.agni.lindenlab.com should now be pointing to 63.211.151.120. If you have a login problem, and nslookup userserver.agni.lindenlab.com shows 63.211.151.20, then you are still using the old, cached record. It should expire in no more than an hour.

We are currently online, and you shouldn't notice anything different. If you do notice something, please file a bug or a support request.
