Events play a big part in the daily world of Second Life, and the organizers of Second Life’s many contests, presentations, and parties truly are the glue that holds our community together.
We're changing the amount of Linden Dollars going into the sponsorship of events. Organizers of events will now receive L$250 for putting a get-together together, but they’ll still receive L$500 to splash out on prizes. Mentor Event and Class sponsorship levels will remain the same at L$500.
What are we planning to do with the extra dough? We’re rolling it into the dwell bonus pool. Add that to the money that formerly supported Voting Stations and Dwell Rewards in v1.2 will be a whopping three times higher than in v1.1!
