For those who have had issues (particularly if you were logged into 1.5 before and are having problems now), here's a potential fix that has worked for a couple of residents (and myself as well).
1) Open c:\Documents and Settings\(yourusername)\Local Settings and delete the contents of your Temp folder. 2) Open c:\Documents and Settings\(yourusername)\Application Data\Second Life and delete the contents of the Cache folder. 3) Uninstall Second Life using the Add/Remove Programs tool in your Windows Control Panel. Uninstall any 1.5 Preview as well. 4) Visit http://secondlife.com/download and download and install the latest release. Hope this helps! Lee Linden |
