Welcome back! Second Life v1.3 is now available for download.

Some great new features wait for your return...

* Now you can receive and reply to your in-world IM via email
* Use IRC type emotes -- great for communicating with Second Life scripts
* Share your Second Life with first life friends! Take a snapshot of your favorite people and places and send as an email postcard right from the snapshot window, free of charge.
* The world is growing quickly so use the improved directory to keep track of what's going on and where. Top Picks and Popular Places listings clue you in on some of the most interesting, important and oft visited destinations. Or keep track of your own favorites in Avatar Picks in your profile.
* Remember those important thoughts about your friends -- a birthday, where you met -- in Avatar Notes. And don't worry, your notes can only be seen by you.
* New terraforming tools let you smooth your entire parcel with one click on the Smooth button, or if you prefer hills, choose Noise. Made a mistake? Just click on Revert and return to the original shape.
* No more messy problems between personal allotments and group needs. Group officers can now directly buy land for their group and specify a simultaneous land contribution when deeding land to the group.
