Rock the SL Vote! We have just released a new tool to help Linden Lab identify and prioritize Resident needs and requests. This new system empowers you the Resident to voice what you would like to see in upcoming versions of Second Life.

SL Feature Voting System is available: http://secondlife.com/vote/

The SL Feature Voting System works by giving each Resident 10 votes with which they can use to either propose and vote on features. How it works:

* Each SL account gets 10 votes
* Each proposal uses one vote and you can't edit your proposal after it's been submitted
* You can allocate your votes as you wish
* You can edit your votes at any time
* If a proposal has zero votes it will be removed

Linden Lab will mark a proposal as 'Can't Do' or 'Approved' - at this point all votes will be returned. If the proposal is marked 'Can't Do' the feature will remain searchable, but no longer in the main list. If it is marked 'Approved? the feature will move onto the approved list and Linden Lab will make a commitment to include it in an upcoming release.

Please keep in mind that approved features from this list will be put into the planning queue. Differing levels of complexity will determine how long it takes for a feature to get implemented, in addition to what else is in the queue (bug fixes, significant scaling features, internal tools and so on.)
