Drumroll, please. . . . . .

Well, they began in March madly planning, coding and creating. The 16 finalists were chosen from over 100 entries. Here are the top three.

▪ 1st Place - Primmies (Jeffrey Gomez) An interpretation of the popular RTS/Puzzle genre and not unlike Lemmings, Primmies’ players are tasked with guiding their poor, scared units through traps, mazes, and even Second Life itself to safety. Primmies challenges the player to confront ever-mounting odds as they guide their intrepid band of Bills, Bettys, Boomers, and more into the jaws of evil.
▪ 2nd Place - EVA: (Gary Bukowski) A work of immersive fiction with Alternate Reality Game elements, EVA is set inside Second Life though game elements take place both in and out of world. One soon finds others who have pooled their efforts to solve puzzles and document a sprawling trail crossing websites, blogs, phone numbers, email and chat conversations and other interactions.
▪ 3rd Place – The Board: (Tiger Crossing) An evil magic boardgame has taken over the city, turning all residents into playing cards and forcing outsiders to walk its tiled paths. On your adventure, you must overcome obstacles, opponents, and puzzles to complete the quests that the residents have given you. By doing so, you earn medallions that unlock the final boss battle where you can defeat The Board once and for all.with friends. The massive size is awe-inspiring and the original artwork gives it a professional feel.
