The Radio Linden crew is happy to announce we are broadcasting on the air as of TODAY! Just hours earlier, we collaborated with Johnny Ming of SecondCast for the Town Hall featuring Philip Linden. We've been amassing a great collection of material for you to enjoy, including interviews with Residents, Lindens, and Resident-created music that was earlier submitted! You can tune in at any Infohub (the blue i's on the map) inworld by:
 1. Teleporting there--a double-click will do!
 2. Turning your music on (Preferences > Audio/Video and check Playing Streaming Music When Available).
You can also listen at your convenience by using this URL: http://66.221.51.119:9008.

Also, there are two Radio Linden signboards inworld showing what's playing and how many others are tuned in. One's in the main Welcome Area (you can't miss it!) @ Ahern (1, 11), and the other is on the stage @ Pooley (238, 12).

Speaking of Infohubs, I'm pleased to also announce the Resident-created Infohub projects! Most of them are in place and awaiting placement of Linden content, and some can be observed in progress--pictures only tell a 2D story, so TP on in and enjoy for yourself!

We have 14 of them, a great wealth of diversity representing creative uniqueness, and coming together as community. Old, new, dirty, clean, elaborate, simple: it's all here. In alphabetical order, they are:
AMBAT - Osprey Thereian
ANZERE - Aliasi Stonebender & Neualtenburg
BEAR - Stella Costello & Ravenelle Zugzwang
BRAUNWORTH - Cottonteil Muromachi
CALLETA - Orhalla Zander
HYLES - Kim Anubis
ISABEL - Shelter Developers
MAHULU - Karsten Rutledge
MAUVE - Chip Poutine
NOVA ALBION (MIRAMARE) - City Slickers
OLIVE - Oliva Delvecchio
PERIWINKLE - Garnet Psaltery
ROSS - Jessica Ornitz & Prokofy Neva
WARMOUTH - Lewis Nerd
As gathering places, they're open for public relaxation, recognizing that in Second Life culture, the world is made by the Residents.

I'd like to graciously thank all of the Infohub builders for their contributions. This is the first time something like this has ever been done in Second Life, and as the grid grows, these pioneers are shining a light into the future possibilities.

Casually drop by with friends or host a formal happening; you can also post events at an Infohub--they'll all show up as Linden Locations.

And, more about this: in the past, it was difficult to keep a track of public areas which we, the Lindens, have made available for Residents to use.

You can now see a convenient list of Linden Locations, including Infohubs, simply by clicking on Find > Places tab and searching for "Linden Location".
(Check "Include places in Mature regions" to show more.) I've added many of them, including stages and sandboxes, and if there's anything else I've missed, just send me, Torley Linden, an IM or email (torley@lindenlab.com)!

Live your Second Life to the fullest, and hope to see you inworld! :)
